About mobile app development
A mobile app only makes sense when it solves something that the browser doesn't: real push notification, offline use, integration with camera/biometrics/GPS, or simply because the user expects an icon on the home screen. When this is the case, Acelerabit delivers its own app in React Native or native — with backend, infrastructure and publication in stores — without locking you into a low-code platform that charges eternal monthly fees.
When is it worth having your own app (and when PWA solves the problem)
PWA solves when the app is basically an interactive website: catalog, dashboard, content reading. Native/RN app is worth it when you need reliable push notification, heavy offline use, cell phone hardware (camera, biometrics, Bluetooth, background geolocation), or when being in stores is part of the commercial strategy. We make this honest cut before proposing a project.
React Native, native or hybrid — how we decide
Default is React Native + Expo: one code for iOS and Android, lean team, quick update without going through stores (OTA), mature ecosystem. We go native (Swift/Kotlin) when the app requires heavy graphical performance, integration with an SDK that only exists natively, or when the client has an internal team on one of the platforms. The decision is technical, not dogmatic.

We deliver the complete package: API and database (TypeScript + PostgreSQL), authentication, push notifications (FCM/APNs or OneSignal), analytics, deep linking and CI/CD for automated build. We also take care of publishing on the App Store and Google Play — the client's own accounts, subscription configuration, screenshots, description and review process.
What does the project look like from end to end?
Discovery and architecture in week 0, product design and navigable prototype in the first weeks, development in sprints with weekly builds distributed via TestFlight and internal Google Play. Beta with real users before launch, crash monitoring (Sentry) and production usage metrics. Optional ongoing support for adjustments, new features and adaptation to iOS/Android changes.

+How much does a mobile app cost?
It varies a lot with the scope. Lean mobile MVP in React Native starts in a few squad weeks; Robust app with complex backend and native versions takes months. We closed an investment range in discovery, with no hidden overtime.
+Do you publish in stores (App Store and Google Play)?
Yes. We take care of the complete process: creation/configuration of Apple Developer and Google Play accounts, assets, description, classification, review process and responses to possible rejections. The accounts are in the customer's name.
+App in React Native really works well?
It works — Instagram, Discord, Shopify, Coinbase, and thousands of great apps run on React Native. For 90% of business cases, performance and UX are indistinguishable from native. When this is not the case, we speak first and suggest native speakers.
+Do you also do the web version?
We do. In most projects, the backend is shared between the app and the web panel, which reduces costs and avoids rework.
+Who pays the Apple and Google bills?
The bills are in the customer's name and are paid by them (Apple Developer is annual, Google Play has a single fee). We configure everything.
